Bowling Balls And Bags Are A Necessity For Serious Bowlers

Serious and professional bowlers should buy their own bowling balls and bags. Bowling balls are spherical balls with three finger holes drilled into them. Bowling balls usually range in weight from 6 to 16 pounds, although other weights are available. The free balls at the bowling alley, called house balls, usually fall into this weight range. For regular bowlers it is a necessity to have their own bowling balls and bags. There are several advantages to ball and bag ownership.

Those owning their own bowling balls and bags have the advantage of a custom fitting ball. The finger holes match their hands exactly. This enables precise bowling, resulting in higher scores. Such balls are more comfortable, and higher scoring is expected over using the bowling alley's house balls. Bowlers buying custom bowling balls and bags are more likely to take care of their equipment, as opposed to the punishment received by the house balls!

Those that order their own bowling balls and bags are likely to never lose their equipment during a bowling league match. Bowling balls must all have a diameter of 8.5 inches, but there is no rule about their appearance! You own custom ball can be almost any color or pattern of which you can conceive. The normal black of the house balls is boring. A neon yellow, sparkly silver, or transparent bowling ball is visible from almost anywhere in the bowling alley. Buying matching bowling balls and bags ensures that your ball bag will never be confused with one owned by someone else.

Bags are an important part of the duo of bowling balls and bags. The bag is your bowling ball's home. It holds your ball, your bowling glove (if needed), and even your bowling shoes if you have them. The bag provides a stable base in which to carry your ball. After all, a round bowling ball would cause loud noises if allowed to roll around the trunk during driving! That is why bowling balls and bags go together so well. The bag keeps your bowling equipment organized, and you'll always know with a lift if your ball is in the bag or not.

Bowlers that purchase their own custom bowling balls and bags can customize them in many ways. A team logo can be monogrammed onto the bag. The logo can be imprinted onto the ball as well. The color and fabric of the bag can be chosen, and monogrammed with the bowlers' names. Custom bowling balls and bags might even feature the images of children, grandchildren, or pets. If you are going to make the investment in your own bowling balls and bags, why not make them special?

Properly matched bowling balls and bags give the bowlers a professional appearance as they enter the lanes. Add matching bowling shoes for a total bowling fashion coup. All serious bowlers should have their very own bowling balls and bags. Hopefully that will translate into more strikes and spares.
